Preparing for a New School Year!

I have already been asked if I was "crazy". We finished up the 2013/2014 school year about a month ago and I am already preparing for the 2014/2015 school year.

There is a lot of preparation involved with Home School and I am so Thankful that Veritas Press takes care of the leg work of pulling it all together.

Tonight I sat down and figured out our school year calendar. It is all prepared and easy to access for quick peeks at each week. Then I read through the introduction of the Geography and History subjects for Cameron, EJ and Cody. I was excited to see what they will be learning next! It wasn't long and I was imputing data into my Quickschools Grade program. I absolutely LOVE it! The Dates for the graded curriculum (assignments, quizzes, tests) for geography and history are all in for my three youngest for the entire first semester.

I still have a mountain to overcome, but we have accomplished much! Curriculum lesson plans have all been printed for the three youngest boys classes. All have been three hole punched and are in a notebook. I labeled all until my label machine ran out of tape.

I am thrilled to be a tiny bit ahead . . . don't want to save it all until right before school starts and then be running around all crazed.
